We have considerable knowledge of single-lap maintenance and muti-lap take-up belt storage and tensioning systems for static, reducing and extending conveyor applications. These can be supplied in any belt widths and belt types as required, to suit clients’ requirements.

These tension systems can be powered, manually tensioned or gravity powered take-up units. Load cell systems can be incorporated to measure belt tensions.

A correctly designed tension system is critical to the efficient operation of a conveyor system. They are designed to be easily maintained, with minimal down times. These conveyor systems can be designed to be floor- or roof-mounted (in mines), in tandem with the conveyor drive systems with a specific restrain or suspension frame.
