Idlers and Frames

Idlers are one of the most numerous components of conveyor systems. There are many styles of idler, but each type shares the same role in the conveyor system. Their primary purpose is to support the conveyor belt and minimise the power required to move materials. They also help to maintain the belt integrity.

The style of idler required depends on the conveyor system it is to be used in. It may have one or more rollers, and can be supported by a frame, or hanging. HC Conveyors manufacture idlers to match the requirements of our clients.
